The Lodge

Bare Lake Wilderness Lodge is located on Bare Lake in the heart of Bonaparte Provincial Park.  It is completely isolated and is the only cabin on the lake. It is fully equipped and provides lodging for up to 16 guests

Cabins
  • 7 cabins with capacities from 2 to 5 people per cabin

SEVEN LAKES -  COUNTLESS POSSIBILITIES

There are a total of seven lakes directly accessible from Bare Lake Wilderness Lodge.

Each lake offer its own unique fishing experience.

Lakes are managed to preserve the quality of fishing.  Size and quantity limits have been set on each lake and catch and release is encouraged.

There is also more to Bare Lake than fishing. The area provides unique hiking, photography, bird watching and wildlife experiences for guests of all ages.

No Road Leads Here

Bare Lake Wilderness Lodge is truly isolated from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Lodge is not accessible by car.  Transport can be arranged from Vancouver or Kamloops, BC.
Helicopter In/Out:
  • We can arrange transportation from Vancouver to Kamloops Airport
  • Flights  from Kamloops Airport are about 20 minutes one way
  • Bare Lake is equipped with a BC Forestry approved helicopter landing pad

​Bare Lake Wilderness Resort is located in the Interior of Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. 
​It is approximately 400 kilometers from Vancouver and 60 kilometers north of Kamloops.
Bare Lake is the only licensed fishing lodge in the protection of Bonaparte Provincial Park
